Who we are

Wensity Private Limited (“Wensity”, “we”, “us”) is a private limited company registered in India and is the data controller for wensity.com. We design and build websites, interfaces, and brand systems for startups and brands. Reach us at hey@wensity.com or read more about the company.

What we collect

We keep data collection deliberately minimal. There is no account system on this site and we do not sell data to anyone. When you email us or book a call we hold your name, email address, any project details you choose to share, and scheduling details. Automatically we collect aggregate page-view and traffic data via Vercel Analytics, approximate country or region derived from your IP address, browser and device type, referring page, and standard server logs generated by our hosting provider.

Vercel Analytics is privacy-focused: it does not use tracking cookies and does not build cross-site profiles of visitors. We run no advertising trackers and no third-party marketing pixels.

How we use it

We process personal data to respond to enquiries and produce quotes, to deliver and support projects we are engaged for, to issue invoices and meet accounting obligations, to understand in aggregate how the site is used, and to keep the site secure and available. Where the law requires a lawful basis, we rely on performance of a contract for client work, our legitimate interest in operating and improving the site, and compliance with legal obligations such as tax rules.

Third-party processors

We use Vercel for hosting, edge delivery, and analytics; email and calendar providers for correspondence and scheduling; and payment and accounting providers for invoicing and financial records. Each processes data on our behalf according to its own security and privacy commitments. We may also disclose data where required by law, or to establish or defend legal claims.

We operate from India and work with clients worldwide, so our providers may process data in other countries including the United States. Where data is transferred internationally we rely on the safeguards those providers offer, such as standard contractual clauses.

Cookies

This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies. A cookie records your selected colour palette so the page renders correctly on the server without flashing the wrong colour, and a local-storage entry records your light or dark theme preference. Both are strictly functional, contain no personal data, and can be cleared at any time through your browser settings. No fingerprinting, no cross-site ad cookies.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become projects are kept for up to 24 months. Client project records and correspondence are kept for the duration of the engagement and afterwards as needed for support, warranty, and legal or tax purposes. Aggregate analytics data contains no identifying information and is retained indefinitely.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law, including India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the UK and EU GDPR where they apply to you, you may request access to the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct inaccurate data, request erasure, object to or restrict processing, and withdraw consent where processing is based on it. Email hey@wensity.com and we respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you may lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Security

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), reputable infrastructure providers, and access controls limiting who can reach client data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. This site and our services are intended for businesses and are not directed at children.

Changes

We will post material updates here and bump the “Last updated” line above. Continued use after a change means you accept the revised policy. Questions can be sent to hey@wensity.com, addressed to Wensity Private Limited, or read the terms of service.
